Roleplaying is often more fun than going through the motions of the game. Yeah, I know, you don't gain levels, but you can become part of that virtual world.

I roleplay all the time. Right now, I'm roleplaying as someone who is competent.

When I was admitted to Shadowbane (phase 2) beta, the NDA was a massive pile of paperwork.

I'm afraid that complete game was nearly indifferent to phase 2...............maybe a few more bugs ...hehe....

Anyways, the game company can put nearly any punishment they want (within the law), into the NDA . This includes possible lawsuits for horrendous amounts of money, to complete banning from the game (even in full release). The NDA is a legal document, a contract between the tester and the developer, and will be treated as such.

I know that they are bringing back World of Darkness. I'm just happy that White Wolf is willing to give something to their community for sticking with their games for so long. Not just an ending, but an ENDING.

Most companies release and say: "All our new source books will be done with our new rules".

World of Warcraft Beta sign-ups start Wednesday

Blizzard will soon begin accepting submissions to test its upcoming MMORPG.

Blizzard software has announced that it will soon begin accepting applications for the beta test of its upcoming massive multiplayer online role-playing game, World of Warcraft. According to the Blizzard Web site, gamers can start signing up as of 6pm PST on Wednesday, January 28th. Unfortunately, the first phase of beta-testing will only accept applications from Canada, Korea, and the US. "The test for Europe and other countries around the world will happen later this year," said a message on the Blizzard site.

The World of Warcraft sign-up period will end one week later end on Wednesday, February 4th at 6:00 pm PST. However, according to Blizzard, "Testers are not going to be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis, so you will be able to submit an application and receive equal consideration anytime during the signup period."

World of Warcraft is a fantasy-themed MMORPG based on Blizzard's best-selling Warcraft series. However, instead of real-time strategy combat , the game will emphasize questing and character development, as well as orc-hewing and foe-slaying. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's preview.

Agreed, this is a much better color for the eyes. Certain colors on a computer screen increase fatigue on the eyes. This mellow purple is one of the least likely to do this.

Thankyou Akroma. My favorite part is still the whole Miracle Max scene. That was pure classic comedy.

It wasn't as bad as the original book, but still funny. Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies also, along with "Adventures of Baron Munchausen" and "Eric the Viking".
