  1. Or if you park just one lock make sure your first two or three summons are locks and you're in business.

    And they tell two friends...

    And they tell two friends...

and so on and so on and so on...

I clomp wid my clan agh my friends because me like ta clomp wid dem. Nub for da shinies. Nub fur da Barackos (har!). Dis Ahn'Qiraj place hab lots ub fun...no matter whu be clomp'n whu.

  3. The one world PVP thing I would not condone is killing questmasters in the starting area.

Oh and dont be asshats on the WoW forums =p

I cannot condone the use of the word "pwn".

Obviously I'm not the Chief or an Elder, but that is my personal rule, and I challenge my fellow crushers to follow it as well.

PS: Some very exciting stuff is being discussed. If we're talking about bringing the fight to the Alliance's door, though. We should probably also spend some time talking about how we better defend our homelands.

  4. In the end, gear and loot....it's all a treadmill and never ends.

But...how will I know when I've won? Will there be some nice cinematics that tie up the lore for me, or will I just get a whisper from Blizzard (Congratulations, you've won. You can stop now.)

I love playing this game with my friends, and I'm very, very happy that there is still a lot of content out there for us to explore. I'd much rather be where I'm at, then in some guild staring at the very end of end content. How boring would it be to know that Rhags was the last challenge for us in the known world, and that farming MC was all we would be doing for the foreseeable future?

But sometimes when folks link the item that their friend's, brother's, guildmate got from uber_mob_257, I feel like Rhoach mentioned before. There's more uber loot that I'll never get to see drop, let alone equip. I wants it my precious, and if I can't have it why do I play this game again?

But, I love it when guildies link stuff in guild chat that they've won. I feel good for them and proud of the clan. Same with loot from MC. I didn't win, but someone I've been fighting side-by-side with for weeks did win. Good for them and now they've spent their DKP so the next one is mine ALL MINE, BWHAHAHA!...erm...

Anyway, I'm happy when I see good gear drop that our guild was involved with. And I'm happy to know that there's more good gear out there for us.

At least I WAS happy until I found out there is no end. Gee thanks, Walddy.

  5. I forget the gear, but Tainish is about 85FR unbuffed. Primary FR slots are:

    Head (WW turban?)

Cloak (also has the lower FR enchant)

    Rings

Felheart pieces, but i forget which of these actually have FR (feet, belt, gloves)

    Off-hand

  6. mmmmm...pie

    mmmmm...bone kisses

    er...ahem

Just wanted to point out that if you're a person who believes the user should play the game instead of the mod, that for the most part you can install CTRA and run CTRA, but turn off most of the interface stuff so that you aren't really using CTRA (but the Raid Leader gets the benefits).

Personally I like a lot of mods, but not the ones that play the game for me. I want a mod that makes the BS interface stuff better, but doesn't change the game play. I was worried about CTRA, but found that I can turn off the stuff that I don't agree with. It's never been a problem.

  7. Quick off topic to say Alhazad, I love your sense of humor when we raid -- you can ask Tainish, I really appreciate your humor and attitude.

It's true. In fact, I think she may have called out your name last night in her sleep.

    Either that or she sneezed.

Actually I'm quite certain that it was a sneeze.

PS: It was me that called out your name.

  8. Xiris' oldest son is getting married, and we're all very excited about the wedding in September. Both he and his bride-to-be were competitive ballroom dancers, which means that dancing will be a big part of the reception.

Which means that Xiris and Tainish have to learn how to dance well...and soon.

Unfortunately the best option for us are classes held on Wednesday nights. So we won't be able to make the Wednesday night raids until we can foxtrot, rhumba, and swing. We've got electric slide covered if it comes up.

We still plan on making Friday nights, and we're toying with the idea of getting keyed for Ony (but have so many other chores to do). You'll still see plenty of us, just not on Wednesday for a while.

  9. Xiris and I are so sorry. We're space cadets and totally forgot that this was Easter weekend.

If we spend some quality family time tonight, we can avoid spending all day Sunday. We love our Crusher family, but not enough to spend all day with a bunch of screaming kids.

  10. Xiris is away at the dentist and won't be back at her computer for a while, but she's most interested in signing up for MC this week. I'd sign her up, but that's not allowed with the new board.

There should be a spouse exception. >:L

  11. You were grumpy? With me?

CTRA needs a special Raid Leader anxiety channel that spams the group and indivduals as needed.

I didn't take anything personally. I figure anyone who can't take orders shouldn't be raiding, and anyone who doesn't get energized by an encounter shouldn't be leading a raid.

  12. My Felhunter and I are not as close as I would like to be, so I had to go digging around the Internet. I found this summary of Warlock MC tactics, which had this quote:

    7. LUCIFRON

If you're not tank support, whip out the felhunter. It will help with removing the 2k damage aoe curse. Thank Blizzard for confusing you with MAGIC effects called "Curse of (the Moron Questmakers that don't know how to spell)". Preferably you should already have some type of warlock addon which will automatically devour magic from affected party members or even raid members. You should set this addon to group only, since there isn't even enough time for devour to cooldown for your group.

    FWIW...
