Martok Posted September 4, 2001 Share Posted September 4, 2001 A recent hot topic on the Shadowbane forums is "group spellcasting". It is thought that the furies will be able to do this. One of the furies special abilities is "Call Storm." What if lets say, five furies got together? Could their spell be linked together to form one gigantic storm? There hasn't been too many MMORGs that have tried to do the "group" spellcasting, and those that have had failed. I wonder if Shadowbane will be the first to break this mold. Could you imagine it??? In UO terms: During an assault on the Orc Fort, the warlocks gather outside the walls to weave their spell. Several orc shamen attempt to persuade the warlocks to leave by dropping an energy vortex in their midst. After the vortex is dispelled, the warlocks weave their joined spell, and unleash an energy vortex inside the orc fort the size of Necropolis.
