Simple, streamlined, sleek. Looks fairly easy to pull off, as well. http://www.bucaneros.org/# This one is alright. Much like the last one, but it's EVE online themed. Could be good, reworked, however. http://www.celtic-anarchy.co.uk/ I like the simple, streamlined approach. I'd like to try for making this look as professional as possible, as opposed to appearing like a geocities page.
