Lord Logan Posted May 3, 2004 Share Posted May 3, 2004 While I do not feel this is the right thing, I belive in order for us to move on, a few things need clarified. It would seem to me most of the recent events revolved around one thing. The dismissal of Cat from the order. I am aware that many of you have recieved pigeons stating that she was not given a trial nor was the codex followed. Both of these statements are false. Not only was she given her due process, we went a few steps beyond what was called for. For two weeks the meetings proceeded in her investigation. Evidence was gathered by the Head of State, and presented to the SoW. I also sat in on these proceedings as they were done. (even though all that was needed was the SoW's desicion as he has complete control over such matters in the legion). During this time it was found she willingly commited acts to tarnish the reputation of the empire and its citizen's. We would have given her a punishment less severe however, she would not admit to her wrongdoings. Thus she was banished. So was the codex followed, Yes. Was she given her fair trial, Yes. Have people been telling you uninformed falsehoods of the events, Yes. I hope this puts this issue to bed forever. Strength and HONOR!
