I am trying to find out what server he is playing on and maybe he'll post some information about how GW1 relates to GW2. I think you can reserve your name by playing GW1. They have a free trial... but for those that are bored this may be a nice option for the next three* months. * Or whenever they are ready to release GW2. From my limited understanding, In order to get rewards to apply for GW2, you would need to obtain mini statues and other rare items for the hall of monuments. Too much time and effort in my opinion. Also, I feel sooo alone as the only interaction you get with others is in cities. Otherwise it feels like a first person game (can't get into those anymore unless they are on a console system).
