Also how do I get a picture to show up in the chat box like this one? Do I need to use another site to "host" the picture and just add a link? DashZero Posted June 21, 2004 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Here is what I do, which isn't a slam dunk for everyone: 1. I own my own domain. (annual renewal fee of about $35) 2. I have it hosted. (monthly fee of $10) 3. I have some # of megs (free with #2 above) 4. I can FTP items to my webspace. 5. Once I put something up there, it is available to everyone else on th einternet 24x7. 6. I figure out what the URL to it is, and paste that in to the appropriate spot. (Use the IMG button above to embed in the page.) You can get free hosting at places like www.imagedump.com but they usually won't let you forward. (You could do some nasty things that way.) I would be happy to host a few pix for you on my site.
