Balandar Posted October 10, 2003 Share Posted October 10, 2003 I am using the comcast cable internet service. Last night around midnight I was getting a lot of lag, packet loss, in SWG. Then my internet went down... so I went to sleep. This morning I could access some of the internet websites. But I could not access slashdot.org, starwarsgalaxies.com, comcast.net, and even thehonorempire.org for awhile (just got in now...). Anyone else having this? Did some DNS router/server (or whatever they are called) go down and it can't resolve certain website IPs? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Prometheus Posted October 13, 2003 Share Posted October 13, 2003 You know, I used comcast about 2 years ago, and I had a similar problem where I couldn't access any of the Origin servers (game or web). The problem was with one of the hops I was taking, through above.net, which didn't like Origin's network for whatever reason. Took about a week to resolve.
