An introduction of sorts....

Out of curiosity, I'll make the same post here and see if the results differ....

In an effort to get to know our members better and elicit additional communication outside of gaming... Could everyone acknowledge this message and tell me a bit about yourselves? I'll go first...
I am TheEniOni. (pronounced 'The Any Oni' there's a whole bit about that.) An old school gamer that grew up with NES, Gameboy, and Playstation. I have spent a large chunk of my life playing video games on both PC and Xbox. There was a short stint where I was playing Call of Duty competitively. Both video games and analog games are what I love. I play Pathfinder TTRPG with friends in person once a week.

When I became a father, I was told I would have to cut down on my gaming, and I decided to challenge that notion.... Now I'm a gaming dad... it is tough to manage but its the life I've chosen. I've been looking for a group to become a part of. I lived the life when Teamspeak and Ventrilo became community gathering hubs. Honestly it was an amazing time. Sadly, most of my previous groups have died out. Just people logging out and never returning. I understand life comes first, and I wish the best of anyone leaving the gaming life. But I'm just looking for a good community, to be amongst like minded crazies, that love the game for the game...

Welcome TheEniOni. I saw your message in discord and posted a response there.

Over the past 10 to 15 years, forum use has significantly dwindled. Most use discord or facebook groups. I'm not up to date on current trends, on how many guilds today have active forum communities. It feels like forums have faded and are not nearly as popular as they were back in the 90's and early 2000's. I keep everything here incase we have old timers come back or anyone wants to reminisce about the "good old days".
