  1. Thanks Orcala. All the best to you as well. It was fun while it lasted
  2. I want to give SWTOR a decent shot this time around and unfortunately I don't think that's going to happen here. We are fairly moribund at present and I don't really see that changing anytime soon. So I've decided to apply to The Second Sith Empire and I'll most likely move most of my toons over there. They seem like a nice group of people so hopefully things will work out. I really appreciate you folks accepting me here and I wish most of you slackers still played so I wouldn't need to move...mainly 'cause I'm lazy. At any rate I'll still be around if you don't mind and I'll be watching to see how many of you will be trying Elder Scrolls. Maybe it will live up to the hype.
  3. Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in! What the heck..$25 gets you the xpac and a months subscription and I really enjoy the class storylines.

Right now I'm only playing a bit here and there and still have to finish some of the tutorials, which are absolutely necessary. I think they took a lot of the tedium out that existed in earlier versions (at least as I understand it). I believe that at one time travel within solar systems took a long time but now you just warp across in seconds. Training takes place in real time. You queue the skills you want to learn and that happens whether you're online or not with the time needed increasing per level. I suspect the time sink will happen once one joins a corporation and they demand you show up for planned events (sort of like raiding I guess). although I have seen some advertised as being do as you please. Right now I play on my own timetable. There is so much to learn that I'm not sure what to think of it yet but I am enjoying myself so far. I'll probably finish my free month and add one more before I decide if it has staying power.

Anybody played this before? Steam had it on sale for $5, including a free month's play, so I decided to give it a try. Totally different from anything I've played before with a very steep learning curve. After a week I have barely got a handle on what to do. I think you get to the meat of the game once you join a corporation. At any rate if any of you are playing it or will be trying it (I think free trials are available) I'm in the Gallente Federation. Look up Hubba Ragnarsson.
  8. I believe it goes f2p either Thursday or Friday.
  9. No worries. Actually Vigil is a pretty good name.
  10. We could always switch it over to Burned Tears if that is still there. One of Waro's alts is GM so if it is we can just dissolve that and take it over.
  11. Hey Orcala. I was wondering if you were still kicking around.
  12. I don't see why not. We should also think about trying HM's at some point in the near future.
  13. I have that puzzle on farm now The other thing we should do is nail down our starting line up so we can start doing this in HM.
  14. http://www.force-effect.net/Page/HeavyFabricator Here's a place to practice that.
