  1. For all of you who live in or near Manhattan, my final performance will be moving to the ALMOST big time. December 19th, at 7pm, we will be performing at The Lamb's Theater at 130 W. 44th between 6th and 7th avenues in Times Square. This is an amazing experience for all of us to perform in an Off-Broadway play house. If any of you are able to come, please let me know ASAP. The performance is absolutely free, I just need to know if you're coming before hand. Hope to see some of you there. And I will be home, and able to log back on on the 20th. So get ready folks, The Dark Priest returns in a week! Kal
  2. Thick clouds shifted throughout his mind. Brief images, and sounds echoing through his lifeless skull. Kalrash tried desperately to cling to an image, a thought, a glimpse of the future. Then it happened, a moment of clarity. The clouds parted, and he saw himself standing once more in the core, over the slain body of Ragnaros. But this was not the future, this was the past. It had been a long time since Kalrash had dreamt about his past, memories were sparce, and fleeting due to his current state of "living". The clouds rolled back in and the images changed, the clouds parted to reveal two new races he had not seen before. One called himself a Dranai, and the other a Blood Elf. Kalrash had heard of these dying races before, but had never before encountered a true Dranai that had not been tainted by the corruption that spred across the land. He welcomed the Blood Elf into the ranks of the Horde, though skeptical of the career paths that they have chosen. Then the thoughts solidified into a sharp and clear image; Black Wing Lair. He knew that was where he needed to go next. He knew that Nefarion's evil was not long for this world, and he needed to be stopped. Like his sister before him, the Crushers would take him down, and he would be there to see it to the end. The dream continued to rapidly change, twist, and distort, flashing images of the portal, outland, and new places that had yet been discovered. All he knew is that when his time arrived, when he finally would wake up, there would be a lot of work to do, and that his guild would need him there on the front lines, where he felt alive once more.
  3. I've been wanting to make a character sig for Kalrash for a long time now. Is there a program you all use to make them, or is it just a photoshop thing? Would love some input\tips, for it's about time that The Dark Priest receive one. Kal
  4. Greetings one and all, The tour... wow, other than extreme amounts of driving cross country, it's been going really well so far. It was great to finally meet our Guilosplat in person, and I'm glad that he enjoyed our show. I'm currently in Pao Alto, CA until Sunday. If you see a venue that you'd like to attend, please let me know, so that I can make the arrangements to get you in FOR FREE I might add =). Also, we normally stay just outside the city of the venue the night before, so if you want to go out for a drink or hang with the Dark Priest, I'm all for it. On a positive note, went gambling in Reno last night and won 85 bucks on the Black Jack tables. That'll probably go towards Burning Crusade heh. Hope all the rest of you are doing well. I am missing WoW and you Crushers something fierce, but I'll be back soon enough now. Kal
  5. Many of these venues are early in the morning, and performed in High Schools (Considering we're touring for National Theatre for Arts and Education), don't let that discourage you if you want to come see the show. Just let me know if you can make it, preferably through e-mail (mwoodley@hotmail.com), and I will make sure that you can get in. If you do e-mail me, make sure you put something in the Subject line because all of my mail is filtered. Here is the list. Hope to see some of you crushers out there. 8. The only problem I see Maube, is that the show is going to be done during the day, not at night. So if you both have jobs, that's probably a no. I'll be posting other shows as well. Kal
  9. Rehearsals are going well already, after 3 days of work, we've already blocked over half of the show, and we're all laughing our asses off. This show is a great Comedy. Our first performance will be in Conneticuit - sp? at a theatre near Milford. Not sure of the exact date right now, still ahve 2 weeks until we perform, and I'll get an exact time as well. So if there's anyone in the area that would like to come see your crazy priest act in RL, you're more than welcome. The Dark Priest Kalrash. /wipes Oriah's and Kytae's tears away P.S. Oriah, I'm sure you'll find a 30 spell damage enchant before I get back, if not, I'll hook you up. And thank you all for the fond farewell. I was quite touched
  10. My Clansmen, It pains me to say that unfortunately, I will not be able to play Kalrash until after Demeber 20th. My laptop is un-able to run World of Warcraft. I will however be providing information as to locations of performances and dates. I will keep you all informed on what's going on as well. I'm currently on lunch break on my second day of rehearsals. I'm already having a blast, and my cast and director are amazing people. I'm going to keep this short, for I must be returning to rehearsal, but I hope everyone is doing well, and that all of my healers are listening to their new leader Guilosplat. Down Ragnaros some more for me, and if you get started on BWL before I get back, good luck, and know that I will not be too far behind you all. I'll be back before you know it. Take care The Dark Priest, Kalrash A.K.A. Mike Woodley
  11. When I came to my senses again, I walked outside to find myself in a quaint little village. I met with an apprentice Priest who assisted me in the beginnings of my training. I trained with the corpse for a few weeks, and I noticed that I was progressing much faster than I had in my life. The shadows had an eerie presence too them, almost clinging to my robe, and swirling around my hands. I quickly learned to slam my will into another unfortunate subjects mind, apparently causing physical pain. I could also warp the shadows around an individual. They would grip, and strangle, and tear at his flesh, it was known as a "Shadow Word". Weeks felt like days, years felt like months. Much time passed and my power only grew. By now, I had even learned how to control a creature's mind, making it my slave. One day I gained insight into a base that harbored hundreds of Scarlet Crusade members. My time for revenge had finally arrived! I met my good friends Solitane and Abrinth outside of the gates to the Scarlet Monastery. The sound of clanging metal filled my ears as Abrinth dismounted and began his charge. It's amazing how fast they responded in kind, sending their re-enforcements. I thought for sure we were goners, their numbers were many, and I cast a healing spell upon Abrinth delaying what seemed to be our inevitable demise. Then suddenly, a ball of fire came shooting over my shoulder, detonating on one of the members of the Crusade. Another man turned on me and raised his blade high in the air. As the blade came down, I felt nothing, but heard the odd sound of a sheep "bahhing" at me. The man had been polymorphed. Much to my surprise, and relief, Raamul rode up just in time, and we finished cleaning up the courtyard. The first man on our list was Arcanist Doan. I remembered him from life, and he had not changed much in the years, save for gaining more power in the arcane arts. We dispatched his guards quickly and efficiently, and arrived at Doan with barely breaking a sweat (If my sweat glands were still functional). "It has been a long time... old friend." I spoke dryly, as my empty sockets focused on his eyes, which were now darting between the four of us. "How did you get past my guards? Who are you? And how do I know you undead?" "My name, you miserable old fool, is Kalrash Salazar. During life, you might have known me as Brother Kalrash, or perhaps "Honest Kal" as they used to call me. Remember it well, for your time in this world has come to an end." With that final word, Abrinth sprung into action, cleaving deep into the mage. I spoke my Shadow Word, and Raamul began his incantations. Our young bovine friend placed his totems upon the ground, enhancing our abilities. Not much effort was required before Doan lay slain at our feet. I took his Illusionary Rod as a memento of my great victory, and of my first step towards achieving my revenge. One by one, they all fell to our might: Harod, Hound Master Loksey, Interrogator Vishas, Whitemane, and even the "mighty" Scarlet Commander Mograine. The taste of revenge was sweet on my tongue; several hundred of my "brethren" lay motionless at our feet. I kneeled and tasted their flesh. It was still warm, and tender from their gaping wounds. I laughed and turned my attention to my compatriots. "I thank you for this my friends, we have dealt a great blow to the Crusade this day. They will forever remember the worst mistake they ever made. They will remember the brother they killed, who has now killed important leaders of their Crusade. They will remember my name. They will forever remember the Dark Priest Kalrash!" We walked slowly out of the Monastery, absorbing all the sounds, the sights, the smells of the dead, and of our victory. I turned my gaze to the East, to the city of Stratholme on the horizon, where the last step of my revenge would take place. On that day, after succeeding, I knew deep down in my non-beating heart, that the Baron would fall, and it would be my hand that brought him to his knees, begging for his life, before I squelch it from this land forever. I motioned to my friends. We mounted up, and began our journey to the East. The Climax of my journey was at hand, and I desperately sought an end to the treachery. "I am coming for you Baron Rivendare, and you best be ready." I muttered under my breath. To Be Continued....
  12. "Arise once more, you who have been cast aside by your own people, shunned by those closest to you. Those who you trusted." As I came to my senses, the Banshee queen, who was unknown to me at the time, was standing above me. The words she said were echoing through my head. I was in a dimly lit, and poorly constructed mausoleum. I slowly sat up, and peered through my new awakened eyes. I looked into a small pool of water on the ground, formed by droplets of condensation. To my horror, I realized that I was in fact NOT looking through eyes, but that I had no eyes at all. My face was twisted and frozen from my last horrifying moment of life. I prayed to the light, hoping for a sign, a guiding ray to bring me out of this... nightmare, but to no avail. I turned to the Dark Lady and asked her, "Why have you brought me back? Why was I not allowed to die in peace?" She responded in kind, "What peace is there in humiliation corpse? Do you not seek revenge against those who have wronged you? Who have made you the creature you see in that reflection?" The words burned in my mind, invigorating me, but I was trained in the ways of the light, and revenge is forbidden, so I said, "Forgive me miss, but revenge is forbidden in my order. The light has decreed this." To which she replied, "If the light truly does exist, how would it possibly have allowed this to have happened to such a devoted creature such as you? The ways of the light are long gone, and shall forever be lost. I have given rise to you through black magic. A dark entity that provides strength, and the means for revenge. Do you seek this revenge Kalrash, or do you wish to be put to your final rest?" Slowly lifting my head, and peering into her eyes, through the magic’s that allowed me to see, I replied, "I desire the power to avenge my death! I pledge myself to thee, and embrace the power of the Shadows." From that moment on, I was never the same.
  13. During his life, Kalrash was a Holy Priest and member of the Scarlet Crusade. He participated in many battles against the Scourge. He later found out that the leader was actually an Undead Liche, so he informed his brothers in arms. The Crusade accused him of slanderous lies and broke his jaw with a mace so that he would never speak such poisons again. They decided to carve out his deceiving eyes as well. Left to wander the Plaguelands, Kalrash eventually died of starvation. It wasn't long before he was born again by the Banshee Queen Sylvannis.
