The vegetables used in the vegetable oil are foraged. Not easy if you can't forage.

Try adding some of the dyes you'll need to make the LoY ribbons in the middle stages of brewing. Not only do you need the dyes for tailoring, but you can increase your brewing skill as well.

Coldain Velium Temper is used for many recipes and is a brewed item. Due to a recently removed coding flaw that caused the only known vendor to sell these items at waaaay below their value, you now have to make them yourselves (or buy them in the bazaar).

The tempers triv at 138, but a subcombine that is one of the CVT's ingredients (Coldain Heater) actually trivs at 158. For the Heater, combine Brown Algae (sold only in Cobalt Scar on the brewing vendor othmir), a shotglass, water, and allspice.
