The Arcane Way

The way of life for all Arcane Guard members. Everyone should read and understand the following.

The Arcane Guard is not a guild run by one leader, but a guild run by its members. Everyone has a say in guild issues. Weather you have an idea to improve our family, or a complaint about a current policy, it is your responsibility to say whats on your mind. It is also everyones responsilibity to watch out for eachother. Further more, not only should we watch out for eachother but also watch eachother to make sure everyone is following the way of the Arcane. We want to remain an honorable guild with a good reputation. Dishonorable actions of any one member can effect the reputation of the entire guild. The Arcane Leader, as well as Velites, have an open door policy. If you see any Arcane member acting against the way of the Arcane we ask that you please state your observations (which will of course remain annonymous) to us.

Everyone is expected to act with curtousy and respect to other Arcane members, and any Hibernians in general. Immature or disrespectful actions of any one member effect the reputation of all Arcane members. If all else fails, use the /appeal help option for a misconduct report, before you start a confrontation with someone else. If you are having a problem with one of the members of the Acrane you may contact the Arcane Leader or any Velite at any time for any reason in game or via Email.

Roleplay is not enforced. However, we play on Guinevere, which is a Roleplay server. Therefore you are expected to respect others rights to roleplay. If you do not want to roleplay, just speak normally. Using present day slang such as "dude" and talking about ones personal life in a hunting group is not acceptable and is against the Mythic code of conduct in roleplay servers. Names of alts should follow the roleplay style.

The higher rank you have within the guild the more privilages and responsibilty you will have. A high rank also earns more respect from your guild mates and gives lower ranks someone to look up to. Being promoted is not a difficult thing to accomplish. Basicly, if you do not speak to anyone in guild chat, you have never hunted with anyone in guild, and you continually decline invitations from guild mates, you probably wont get promoted very quickly. However, even the most simple task of conversing with your guild mates in guild chat will get you a promotion.
